Statement of Purpose

As a teacher and a Superintendent, my philosophy was to base decisions on what is best for the student, and what will further their educational goals. My career in education exposed me to challenges faced by Missouri public schools from funding to preparing students for college or trade. I was proud to have been able to provide students in my schools with a quality education in spite of having limited resources. I found that having good teachers is the key to increasing achievement.
